Wool Organized

Getting my wool stash put away and organized. It feels great to have my wool out again and actually start hooking. By the looks of it, I should not have to buy any more wool! But how many times do you say, I just don't have the right color and then before you know it, you are looking for that great new piece of wool!
It truly is a sickness, of the good kind!!

Below is a little snowman rug that I hooked this last week, just because I could.
I will get it listed on ebay this weekend sometime!
ENJOY!!

Finally A Home!!

We finally have a house to call home!! It has been a long year and I am looking forward to putting this year behind us. I took a few pictures of the house for you to see. as you can see I have nothing on the walls yet, that will come in time.
This is the living room, as you can see, Molly is enjoying the new oriental rug!
We have no dirt as you can see, it is all sand!.
The landscaping was done by the builders!

This is the kitchen area, not as much cuppard space as my other house, so trying to find room for everything!

Movin Again!!!

Well we are moving again!! Some of you may or may not know, but my husband and I just moved to Charlotte, NC for my husband got a job transfer within his company. Well the day we sold our house back in Nebraska, his company in Charlotte told him that his job was going away and he would have to find a new job!! Gee thanks, we just sold our house and moved half way across the US for you and this is the thanks they gave us!!! Well needless to say, things happen for a reason and my husband got a new job in Kinston, NC so now we are moving on east. We have our eyes on a house, but nothing is final yet in that department, but soon we hope. In the meantime, we are going to stay with some friends out there till we can find a place of our own. So stay tuned!! Will keep you updated on the happenings!!

Finally Finished!!

I finally finished this rug I started over the summer, I put it aside for awhile, but decided to pick it up again and get it done. I love how it turned out!!
Once again it was a great scrappy rug, because I used a lot of my scraps.
The pattern is called Tobey Valentine and is an adaption of an antique rug.
It measures 24.5" X 32"
Now I am off to whip the edges!
Enjoy!

Sheep Houses Moon

Just finished up this pattern, it was really a fun one to hook. I used a lot of scraps, since there was lots of circles to hook. It ended up measuring 31" X 39" with the 3 rows of black for the border.
It is a happy rug!

Oh, what to hook next?
Enjoy!

My New Wool Storage!!

Last Friday I made oh about 10 trips to our garage where my wool is being stored in these boxes, to find wool so I could start to hook on my next rug! Not ideal, but when a girl wants to hook, she will do whatever it takes!!!

I love this pattern it is a pattern from Karla Gerard, it came on paper, so I blew it up (with permission) big enough so I could hook it in a #9 cut of wool.
I am off to go and hook, will show it when I am done!!
Have a Great Day!

Rugs & Molly

This big orange pumpkin rug is one that I just finished hooking. I have been seeing lots of pumpkins in magazines that have been painted with blacks spots, so I thought I would hook one.
This rug I finished hooking awhile ago, but just got it bound so thoguht I would share it with you. It is a design by Designs in Wool called Trio of Flowers.
This is Molly, what can I say. She is scared of everything! This is her new hiding spot in our apartment, she runs here and hides when I scold her for barking at everyone that walks by the window!!
