New Rug Done!

This is a rug that I designed using a piece of paper folded like you are going to make a cut snowflake, but you draw your design instead of cut it out. That is how I got the flower, then I repeated the flower and drew the border. It wasn't the most fun finishing the rug, but well worth the extra effort. My friend Marion keeps calling it a jewel box, so I guess that is what I will call it.
Enjoy!

  1. That is wonderful. I did corners like that one time - it was difficult but I love the way it looks. Mine didn't have those little circles all the way around - which are really cute! Great design!

  2. Wow Cammie - What a great rug - I've never attempted an uneven edge like that, but now I'm tempted! LOL Congrats on your finish! I've been so busy with sewing projects that I haven't had time for hooking the last few weeks - I wanna get back to it soon.
